Longwood Gardens is my favorite spot for engagement photography. The fall in particular is my very favorite time to shoot at Longwood gardens, the warm colors and a perfect romantic moody backdrop. I was so happy when my couple, Megan and Jeff we were able to schedule in our session this past fall (and on the absolute PERFECT weekend), Jeff is busy with medical school and Megan is a nurse with a busy schedule as well. I urged them to meet me at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA for this spectacular, romantic session. We literally closed down Longwood Gardens and shot until dark. I kept wanting to pinch myself! The colors were unbelievable, they almost looked like a painting. I am so excited to photograph Megan and Jeff’s wedding this coming May at Winterthur! For this session I brought along some fun plaid blanket props that I found on Amazon. I’ve had a lot of people ask me about the pretty one with fall colors, so here is the link: Plaid Wrap/Scarf
I love it when a little wind works in our favor for engagement sessions. How stunning is this shot with the green backdrop, fall colors?
This always makes me laugh, there are two of my favorite spots to shoot at Longwood gardens and guess what? They are the bathrooms! I’m fairly sure Longwood gardens has been voted as one of the coolest bathrooms in America, the other one is inside the conservatory, you can see it here.
I love the fall grass for a romantic, whimsical feel, perfect for any engagement session.
Longwood gardens offers so many great spots for engagement photography sessions. If it’s raining, cold or beautiful out
there are endless options to sneak out of the bad weather. This day couldn’t have been more perfect though.
