As a wedding photographer, I see a LOT of fun ideas. When my friend and amazing wedding planner, Samantha of Secretariat Events contacted me about a Halloween inspired wedding, I couldn’t say yes fast enough. I knew it would be spectacular, tasteful and a great party. Greenville Country Club in Delaware is a the perfect setting for a haunted, elegant halloween setting. The flowers were elegant, fall soft but also a perfect balance of light colors and moody tones. The tables each had a theme like Felix the Cat (adorned with a black cat with glowing black eyes) and the grim reaper. Guests chose their name card with their assigned table name. Tall candles in glass vases set the ambiance along with a bagpipe player invited guests into the front door. The groom wore a traditional kilt and the bride had a traditional wedding gown for the ceremony and a fun, romantic black dress for the party. The cake topper had two skeletons on top. The ceremony was set in the orange toned, glowing gold library room with a decorated fireplace creating a very dramatic backdrop for the wedding. A halloween wedding that was a perfect balance of romance, elegant yet spooky decor. The bride and groom wanted something different and they achieved their goal!
